Returns

BaytCart is a marketplace, so returns are set by the seller of each product. Each seller's return terms are shown on the product page and apply to your order. This policy explains how returns work in general and which items cannot be returned at all.

Returns are set by the seller

Because products are sold by different sellers on our platform, each seller defines its own return terms — including whether an item can be returned, the return window and any conditions. These terms are shown on the product page before you buy, and they apply to that item.

Where a seller does not state otherwise, the general conditions below act as the baseline. In all cases, your statutory consumer rights under the laws of the Sultanate of Oman continue to apply, particularly for damaged or faulty goods.

Items that cannot be returned

Given the nature of what we sell, the following are not eligible for return or change-of-mind refunds:

  • Custom-made and made-to-order products, including modular kitchens, kitchen cabinets and cabinetry built or cut to your specifications.
  • Building materials — these are generally sold as project supplies and are not returnable, unless the seller states otherwise on the product page.
  • Any item marked as non-returnable or final sale on the product page.

Items that may be returned

Standard catalogue products that are not custom-made or building materials — such as home appliances and ready-stock goods — may be returned where the selling seller allows it and the conditions below are met:

  • The return is requested within the window stated on the product page (typically up to 14 days of delivery).
  • The item is unused, undamaged and in its original, unopened or resealable packaging.
  • All accessories, manuals and free gifts included with the item are returned.
  • Proof of purchase (your order number) is provided.

How to start a return

  • Sign in to your account and open Orders.
  • Select the order and the eligible item you wish to return, and follow the prompts.
  • The seller and our team will review your request against the product's return terms and share the next steps.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will confirm the outcome. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Card refunds typically appear within a few working days, depending on your bank. Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

If you would like a different size, finish or model, request a return for the original item and place a new order for the replacement.

Damaged or faulty items

This applies to every order, including custom-made products and building materials that are otherwise non-returnable. If your item arrives damaged, incorrect or develops a fault, contact us at [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery with photos and your order number. In line with your consumer rights in Oman, we will work with the seller to arrange a replacement, repair or refund at no cost to you.
